Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to purchases and use of courses and other professional-development services supplied by Amber Bryant, trading as Advancing Behaviour Analysts, a sole trader in the United Kingdom.
Our courses
Course descriptions state the subject, format and APD information applicable to the course. You are responsible for checking that a course is suitable for your professional-development needs and for meeting any requirements of your professional body.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. Learner accounts and course access are for the registered learner and must not be shared. Where a UK-SBA number is requested for certification, you are responsible for ensuring that the number entered in your profile is accurate.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown before checkout. Payment is due when you place an order. Your order is accepted when we confirm it and provide access to the purchased course or service.
Immediate access to digital courses
Our online courses are digital content. By placing an order and ticking the checkbox at checkout to agree to these Terms and Conditions, you expressly request and consent to us supplying the digital course content immediately after purchase, before the end of the 14-day cancellation period.
You acknowledge that once supply of the digital content begins, you lose the right to cancel that digital-content purchase under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This does not affect your statutory rights if digital content is faulty, not as described, or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Course content and availability
We aim to keep course information accurate and services reasonably available. We may make proportionate updates to content where needed to maintain accuracy, quality, accessibility or professional relevance.
Assessment and certificates
Where a course requires completion of specified content, an assessment, evaluation or other requirements, these must be satisfied before a certificate is issued. Certificates record the learner and completion information held in the learner account. You are responsible for keeping your UK-SBA number accurate.
Each course purchase is for one individual learner only. One certificate may be issued for each course purchase, in the name of the registered learner who completes the course requirements. Course access, assessments and certificates may not be shared or used to obtain certificates for additional individuals. Where multiple people require certificates, a separate course purchase and learner account is required for each person.
Professional-development purpose
Our courses are educational professional-development materials. They do not replace professional judgement, supervision, organisational policies, safeguarding responsibilities, legal duties or person-specific clinical assessment. Learners remain responsible for applying learning appropriately within their own role and scope of competence.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, course materials and original website content are the intellectual property of Amber Bryant. Purchasing a course gives you a personal, non-transferable right to access and use the materials for your own learning. You may not copy, reproduce, record, redistribute, resell or commercially exploit course materials without written permission.
Cancellations and refunds
Your cancellation rights depend on the type of course or service and whether digital content or a service has begun. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms and explains the applicable process.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or affects rights you have under consumer law. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses arising from consumer use of a course.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer rights you may have regarding jurisdiction.
